PRACTICES FOR THE COLLECTION AND HANDLING OF DRINKING WATER SAMPLES [1 DAY INSTRUCTION] |
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will look at various typical samples such as: microbiology samples, preserved samples, unpreserved samples, organics samples, and volatiles samples. The course will also examine MOE's guidance document for submitting drinking water samples for analysis to the Laboratory Services Branch. Sample container, preservative and holding time requirements are specific to analytical methods used by LaSB.
The course will also examine MOE's 'Protocol of Accepted Drinking-Water Testing Methods' (microbiological parameters, chemical parameters, and additional parameters).
